A Historic Site Reimagined
The story of this place began in the early 1970s, when the Kormoran Conference and Leisure Centre opened on the shore of Lake Pluszne. Hidden among the forests of Masuria, it served for years as a discreet holiday and conference retreat — a place known to a limited circle of guests, valued for its seclusion, lakeside setting, and direct contact with nature.
Today, the same site has entered a new chapter. Aries Lago Park Hotel & Spa Mazury stands where Kormoran once welcomed its guests, preserving the memory of the original centre while giving the location a contemporary, five-star form. The shoreline, the forest surroundings, and the atmosphere of escape remain part of its identity.
For many, this place still carries personal memories. Some guests return with stories of childhood holidays spent here with parents or grandparents, recognising the landscape even as the architecture and standard have changed.
